For nearly two decades, I worked in dentistry before stepping away to spend more time at home with my family. Somewhere in that season, I picked up a camera—and what began as a creative outlet quickly became something I couldn't imagine my life without.

In 2022, Lisa Kay Photography was born.

Today, I photograph families, seniors, and motherhood throughout Maryland's Eastern Shore, creating portraits that feel refined yet effortless, with a softness inspired by the beauty of the coast.

I believe the most meaningful photographs live somewhere between beautifully composed and completely genuine. I'll guide you when you need it—where to stand, what to do with your hands, how to move—but I'll also leave space for the moments that happen naturally. The laugh you didn't plan. The way your child reaches for you. The quiet connection between poses.

My work is light-filled, true to color, and intentionally timeless. More than anything, I want your photographs to feel like you—and to become the images you still love hanging in your home years from now.

Because beautiful photographs matter.
